Nargenis Ulloa (182-G-1997) had a very impressive game in the last round for Heroes de Moca and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5 (Second Stage).
The 28-year old guard had the game-high 15 points adding five rebounds and five assists for Heroes in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Caneros (#5, 11-12) 92-90. Heroes maintains the 3rd position in Dominican Rep. LNB. Heroes is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 11th lost game this season out of 23 games. In the team's last game Ulloa had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Heroes, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Nargenis Ulloa averages this season 7.7ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young power forward Luismal Ferreiras (200-PF-2003) of second-ranked Indios de San Francisco. Ferreiras impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Indios was edged by slightly lower-ranked Reales (#4, 11-11) 93-89. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Indios still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 16-7 record is not bad at all. Ferreiras is one of the most experienced players at Indios and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.8ppg (#7). He also registered 11.1 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Yeison Colome (190-SG-1996) of Caneros Del Este (#5). Colome got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for six assists. Despite Colome's great performance the Caneros lost 90-92 to slightly higher-ranked Heroes (#3, 12-11). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Caneros ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 12 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Colome could help Caneros to bring them higher in the standings. Colome has a great season in Dominican Republic. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.0ppg (best scorer) and assists with 4.1apg (6th best).
