Nixon Mina joins J.Guzman

Jorge Guzman CD (Liga Basquet Pro) agreed terms with experienced 36-year old ex-international power forward Nixon Mina (205cm-1990). He played this summer at Piratas in the LNB. In 10 games just recently he had 10.1ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.9apg. Liga Basquet Pro will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.
Mina has played previously in Ecuador between Mavort, Importadora, Pydaco, Manabi, and Santa Maria, and during Peru with Etoway Trujillo.
Among many awards, he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Ecuadorian Liga Desarrollo Honorable Mention back in 2020. It's very possible he may end his playing career at J.Guzman.
