Cuenca Basket Club (Liga Basquet Pro) signed 24-year-old power forward David Aparicio. He played for Andes in the LNB this summer. In 8 games, he averaged 6.9ppg, 4.1rpg, and 1.8apg. Aparicio will have a better opportunity to showcase his skills in Liga Basquet Pro and could get more playing time. He was instrumental in helping Andes reach the Ecuadorian League final.
Aparicio has played in Chile (Omega), Ecuador (Barcelona, Santa Maria, Caballeros, Rincon de Castilla Babahoyo, and Olimpia), and Chile as well.
Among many awards, he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Chilean LNB 2 All-Imports Team in 2025.
