Adriano Barreras is a newcomer at San Antonio Gold

San Antonio Gold (Liga Basquet Pro) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 37-year old Cuban shooting guard Adriano Barreras (183cm-1989). He played this summer at Andes in the LNB. In 10 games just recently he recorded very impressive stats: 20.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg. Liga Basquet Pro will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to make it to the Ecuadorian League final. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Ecuadorian League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).
Barreras is quite experienced player. He has played also in Argentina (Ferro and Pico Football Club de General Pico), Chile (Quilicura), Colombia (Piratas), Panama (Correcaminos), Spain (Cimbis), Ecuador (Asociacion Deportiva Naval Marina, Santa Maria and Piratas) and Bolivia (Pichincha, CAN Potosi).
Among many awards he won Panamanian LPB championship title in 2021. Barreras was also selected Latinbasket.com All-Ecuadorian League Import Player of the Year in 2025.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at San Antonio Gold.
