Deportivo Quito inks Danielle McCray, ex H.R. Le-Zion

Danielle McCray

Deportivo de Quito (Liga Femenina) agreed terms with 30-year old American shooting guard Danielle McCray (186-87, college: Kansas). She played last season at H.R. Le-Zion in Israeli D1 league. In 5 games she had 12.4ppg, 5.8rpg and 3.0apg. McCray also played that season for 1 De Agosto in Angolan league.
In 2010 she was drafted by Connecticut Sun (WNBA) in first round (7th overall).
The former University of Kansas staris in her eighth season in pro basketball.
McCray won Polish BLK championship title in 2014.
She represented USA at the World University Games in Belgrade (Serbia) eight years ago. McCray's team won Gold and her stats at that event were 7 games: 12.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.6apg, 1.1spg, FGP: 59.5%, 3PT: 46.7%, FT: 81.3%.
McCray is quite experienced player. She has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America). McCray has played previously professionally also in France (COB Calais), Italy (Familia Schio), Slovakia (Good Angels) and Poland (Wisla Krakow).
