Luisana Ortega (ex Cangrejas) is a newcomer at Macara Lums

Luisana Ortega

Macara Lums Ambato (Liga Femenina) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old Venezuelan international small forward Luisana Ortega (170-89). She played in the summer at Cangrejas in Venezuelan LINABAFE.
Among other achievements Ortega played in the final of Venezuelan LINABAFE in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016.
She also represented Venezuela at the Olympic Games Additional Qualifying Round in Nantes (France) last year. Her stats at that event were 2 games: 2.0ppg, 1.0rpg.
Ortega has played also professionally for other Venezuelan teams like Llaneras, Bucaneras and Guaras.
