Brent Jackson signs at Punto Rojo

Punto Rojo LR (National League) landed 24-year old American swingman Brent Jackson (193-91kg-94, college: Columbus State). He played in the summer at Tampa 20/20 (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. Jackson managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). He also played for Ostioneros de Guaymas (CIBACOPA) in league where in 19 games he averaged 14.7ppg, 4.9rpg and 2.4apg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
Among other achievements Jackson's team made it to the PeachBelt Tournament Semifinals in 2016. He received also All-Eurobasket Summer League in Atlanta 1st Team award in 2016 at his college time.
Jackson has played also professionally in Mexico (Libertadores).
He attended Columbus State until 2016 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Jackson's outlook: Brent is a very good athlete that is capable of playing the 2/3/1 positions offensively. Defensively he is an excellent match up against the 1/2/3 positions. He is a good three point shooter. In his senior year in college he shot over 40 from three point range and 77 from the free throw line.
