Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Round 18 most important game was a victory of Leones over 4th ranked Guerreros 85-77 on Friday night. It was a good game for Canadian point guard Alex Johnson (178-88, college: Z*Orangeville A's) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 6 rebounds. U.S. Virgin Islands-American forward Jamaal Samuel (206-93, college: La-Monroe) contributed with 25 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Deilvez Yearby (200-87, college: PFW) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds for Guerreros. Guerreros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Leones (8-10) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Punto Rojo. Guerreros at the other side keep the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Barcelona.
National League top team - Iccan (16-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Punto Rojo (8-10) in Guayaquil 98-86. Colombian-Venezuelan swingman Cesar Silva (190-81) had a triple-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Darol Hernandez chipped in 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds during the contest. The game between third ranked Juvenil (12-6) and 8th ranked Portoviejo (7-11) in Vinces on Friday ended with biggest points difference. Juvenil outscored guests from Portviejo 98-65. Brandon Swannegan notched 25 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort. Juvenil's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. They maintain third position with 12-6 record having four points less than leader Iccan. Portoviejo lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 11 games lost.
