Audaz tabs Shacobia Barbee, ex Rishon Le-Zion

Audaz Octubrino Machala (Liga Femenina) inked 26-year old American swingman Shacobia Barbee (179cm-94, college: Georgia) for the 2021 South American League. She played recently at Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion in Israeli D1 league.
In 2016 Barbee was drafted by New York Liberty (WNBA) in third round (36th overall).
She attended University of Georgia and it is her sixth season in pro basketball.
Barbee has played previously professionally in Spain (Ferrol, Casablanca, Al-Qazeres and Araski) and Turkey (Kayseri).
Among many awards Barbee's team made it to the Spanish LFB Semifinals for two years in a row (2017 and 2018). She received also Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup 2nd Team award in 2020.
