A.S. Ramat Hasharon (D1) landed 32-year old American 196cm power forward Jacinta Monroe, college: FSU, agency: Basket Promotion Agency for new season. Last year Monroe played for Hainaut in French LFB where in 8 games she averaged 10.6ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.0apg. Monroe also played 1 game in Eurocup where she had very impressive stats: 23 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.
In 2010 she was drafted by Washington Mystics (WNBA) in first round (6th overall).
Monroe is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in eleven different countries playing on four different continents. She is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Monroe has played previously professionally in China (Beijing Great Wall), Latvia, Paraguay (Olimpia and Sol de America Asuncion), Puerto Rico (Atenienses), Russia (Enisey Krasnoyarsk), Spain (Casablanca and Argon Uni Girona), Turkey (Botas, Cankaya and Canik Belediye), WNBA (Seattle Storm), France (Flammes and Nantes Reze), South Korea (S-Birds) and Czech Republic (Nymburk).
She won Paraguayan Metropolitan League Apertura championship title in 2017.
