Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most important game of round 3 took place in where Santa Maria crushed Manabi (2-1) 93-69 on Sunday night. Santa Maria dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Manabi's 24. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Abrahan Barahona (-3) who led his team to a victory scoring 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (on 17-of-22 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Martin Martinez (182-95) helped adding 19 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 steals. The best for the losing side was American guard Vince Toftness (188-97, college: Ecclesia) with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Manabi will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest. Santa Maria will try to continue on its current victory against Manabi in Portviejo.
Very significant was Guerreros' (#3, 1-2) victory against Triple E-Uda (0-3) 82-56. It was an exceptional evening for center Michael Torres (-2) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Neudy Reyes accounted for 12 points and 11 rebounds. point guard Milton Romo (-90) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds for Triple E-Uda in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guerreros will again play against Triple E-Uda (#4) in Gualaceo in the next round. Triple E-Uda will have a break next round.
