Heidy Guayaquil
Heidy Guayaquil (157-G-99) had an amazing evening in the last round for UDJ and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 22-year old guard had the game-high 21 points adding nine rebounds for UDJ in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Punto R. (#3, 1-1) 78-77. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. UDJ maintains the 4th position in Ecuadorian Liga Femenina. They are still not able to win a single game in the league yet. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 3 games and had no victories. It was one of impressive evenings for Guayaquil as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Heidy Guayaquil averages this season 10.5ppg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 18-year old forward Sarahi Valencia (F-03) of second-ranked Fuerza M.. Valencia impressed basketball fans with 24 points and 4 rebounds. Of course she led Fuerza M. to another comfortable win 66-49 over slightly higher-ranked Bocca (#1, 5-1) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Fuerza M. consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. Valencia is a newcomer at Fuerza M. and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.
The third best performed player last round was another UDJ's star - Ana Mora (169-SF-99). Mora scored 15 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of UDJ, helping her team with a 78-77 win against #3 ranked Punto R.. UDJ can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Mora has individually a great season in Ecuador. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.5ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 7.8rpg (5th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
