An interesting game for Punto Rojo (7-2) which played road game in Gualaceo against 3rd ranked Triple E-Uda (4-4). First ranked Punto Rojo managed to get a 14-point victory 81-67. Punto Rojo outrebounded Triple E-Uda 50-37 including 38 on the defensive glass. Argentinian Pablo Alderete (198-1993) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Uruguayan guard Martin Trelles (187-1996) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American guard Eric Worthey (196-1991, college: Lourdes) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for Triple E-Uda. Punto Rojo have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-2 record. Triple E-Uda at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost.

Worth to mention a great performance of guard Arath Polanco (-2003) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and Michael Almeida who added 12 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 10 steals during the contest.
