Fuerza M. - Caballeros 66-73 5th ranked Fuerza M. (2-6) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to leader Caballeros (0-0) 73-66 on Friday evening. 28 personal fouls committed by Fuerza M. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Mason Harrell (203-1997, college: WSSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and the former international power forward Carlos Delgado (202-1990) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Yassel Farres with 16 points and the former international guard Jonathan Arboleda (190-1995) scored 18 points. Fuerza M.'s coach Frank Rodriguez rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Caballeros maintains th place with 0-0 record. Fuerza M. lost sixth consecutive game. Fuerza M. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Nesfebanor - Santa Maria 68-81 The game in was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Santa Maria (6-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Nesfebanor (1-7). Santa Maria defeated Nesfebanor 81-68. Santa Maria made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Venezuelan swingman Emilio Cappare (199-1990) nailed 24 points and 8 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winning side and Venezuelan point guard Alejandro Noguera (-1995) accounted for 24 points and 6 rebounds. Yolvis Granado came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and Dani Duarte (-1984) added 15 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Nesfebanor in the defeat.
