The most important game in the last round took place in between second ranked Santa Maria (6-2) and fifth ranked Fuerza M. (4-7) on Tuesday night. Santa Maria was defeated by Fuerza M. on the road 81-64. Fuerza M. forced 19 Santa Maria turnovers. Juan Rojas (-1989) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Yassel Farres chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Fuerza M.'s coach Frank Rodriguez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Venezuelan swingman Emilio Cappare (199-1990) produced 27 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Newly promoted Fuerza M. maintains fifth position with 4-7 record. Defending champion Santa Maria keeps the second place with two games lost. Fuerza M. are looking forward to face higher ranked Triple E-Uda (#4) in Gualaceo in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Santa Maria will have a break next round.

It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Club Valle. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Mason Harrell (203-1997, college: WSSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 18 rebounds and 6 blocks. Robert Colon contributed with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Luther Page (201-1993, college: Alabama St., agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) replied with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for Club Valle. Club Valle's coach Daniel Gonzalez rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Caballeros maintains th position with 0-0 record. Club Valle at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the third place with three games lost. Caballeros will play against Guerreros (#7) in Santo Domingo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Club Valle will play against the league's leader Punto Rojo (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Martin Trelles had a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners. Punto Rojo's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Enrique Estrella responded with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Punto Rojo (9-2) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Loser Guerreros keep the seventh place with seven games lost. Punto Rojo will meet at home Club Valle (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Guerreros will play against Caballeros in Tulcan and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 10 bottom-ranked Nesfebanor was crushed by Fuerza M. in a road game 86-57.

Punto Rojo forced 21 Guerreros turnovers and outrebounded them 56-38 including a 44-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. Punto Rojo looked well-organized offensively handing out 40 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Guerreros' players. There was no surprise when 8th ranked Nesfebanor (1-9) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Fuerza M. (4-7) 86-57 on Friday. Fuerza M. forced 27 Nesfebanor turnovers. Eder Guerreo (-1991) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Alioxi Ponce (-1995) chipped in 18 points during the contest. Five Fuerza M. players scored in double figures. At the losing side Reinaldo Sanchez responded with 25 points and 7 rebounds and Yolvis Granado produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Fuerza M. maintains fifth position with 4-7 record. Nesfebanor lost fifth consecutive game. Nesfebanor at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom place with nine games lost.
