Harrell's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old power forward Mason Harrell (203-F/C-1997) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Caballeros and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had a double-double of 20 points and 17 rebounds, while his team outclassed Guerreros (#7, 1-11) with 34-point margin 103-69. Caballeros is placed at 2nd position in Ecuadorian league. Caballeros has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. In the team's last game Harrell had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Caballeros' top player in his first season with the team. Winston Salem State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Harrell leads league in rebounds with 14.8rpg. Harrell is in league's top in and averages solid 2.1bpg and 63.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Alexander Guerra (196-F-1996). He is international forward in his first season at Caballeros. In the last game Guerra recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Of course together with Harrell he helped Caballeros with another comfortable win 93-75 over slightly lower-ranked Club Valle (#4, 6-5) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Caballeros consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team belongs to top of the standings with 9-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Guerra is a newcomer at Caballeros and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to another Caballeros' star - forward Carlos Delgado (202-F/C-1990). Delgado got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . He was another key player of Caballeros, helping his team with a 93-75 easy win against #4 ranked Club Valle. Delgado has a great season in Ecuador. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.4ppg (7th best). He also has 1.7bpg and FGP: 63.3%.
