Leones de Riobamba SC (Liga Basquet Pro) inked 25-year old American 203cm forward Joe Hampton (college: LBSU) for upcoming season. Hampton played last summer at Piratas in Colombian Liga Wplay. In 20 games he averaged impressive 15.8ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.4apg and 1.0spg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals.
Hampton graduated from Long Beach State University in 2022 and it will be his second season in pro basketball. Hampton's team won Big West Regular Season in 2022. He played also for East Los Angeles College for one year.
