Liga Basquet Pro 2023 - Ivan Basualdo (ex La Union) signs at Piratas

Piratas de Los Lagos (Liga Basquet Pro) landed 33-year old Argentinian ex-international 203cm center Ivan Basualdo for new season. Basualdo moved there from La Union in Argentinian La Liga. In 42 games he averaged 7.9ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.4apg and 1.3spg last season. He ended the last season at Union (also in La Liga) where in 16 games he had 4.3ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.0apg and 1.3spg. But the most of that year he spent at Olimpia in Uruguayan LUB. In 18 games he recorded 7.4ppg, 9.0rpg, 2.1apg and 1.3spg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay LUB Honorable Mention. Basualdo was a member of Argentinian Senior National Team back in 2016.
He has played previously professionally also in Mexico (Lenadores).
His team won Argentinian LigaA South Group Regular Season in 2015.
