Liga Basquet Pro 2023 - Orange adds Vasileiadis to their roster

Orange Club Baloncesto (Liga Basquet Pro) added to their roster experienced 39-year old Greek ex-international swingman Kostas Vasileiadis (200cm-1984) for new 2023 season. Vasileiadis moved there from Caceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad in Spanish LEB Gold. In 12 games he recorded 13.4ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.3apg last season.
He was a member of Greek international program for some years. Vasileiadis was called to Greek Senior National Team between 2005 and 2014 and previously for U21 National Team back in 2005.
He is quite experienced player. Vasileiadis' career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Vasileiadis tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and Latin America. He has played previously professionally in Iraq (Air Defence Sporting Club), Italy (Montegranaro), Qatar (Al Sadd), Turkey (Efes), Uruguay (Goes), Venezuela (Marinos), Spain (Unicaja, Murcia, Tenerife, Bilbao and Obradoiro) and Greece (PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki, AEK Athens and Trikala). His team made it to the Cup (Copa del Rey) Semifinals in 2015, 2018 and 2022. Vasileiadis was voted to Greek A1 All-Star Game back in 2005 and 2006.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Orange.
