Larenz's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

25-year old forward Bryce Larenz (F-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Club Valle and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 42 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Nesfebanor (#6, 0-4) with 43-point margin 105-62. It allowed Club Valle to take over top position in the Ecuadorian league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Club Valle has a very solid 4-2 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Larenz had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Club Valle's top player in his first season with the team.

Second best performed player last round was Cristhian Moreno (F-1998) of Nesfebanor. He is a forward in his first season at Nesfebanor. In the last game Moreno recorded impressive 33 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Nesfebanor lost that game 62-105 to the higher-ranked Club Valle (#1, 4-2). Nesfebanor are still at the very bottom. 4 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Moreno is a newcomer at Nesfebanor and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Martin Martinez (182-PG-1995) of Caballeros (#3). Martinez got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . He was a key player of Caballeros, leading his team to a 65-61 win against #2 ranked Atuneros in a game of the week. Caballeros needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Martinez has a great season in Ecuador.
