National League Round 8 of Regular Season

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game of round 8 was only three-point a home defeat of second-ranked Atuneros (4-3) to first ranked Club Valle (5-2) 81-78. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Bryce Larenz (-1998) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 assists and forward Dajari Acosta (-2006) who added 24 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Forward Oylan Spriggins (-1992) responded with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Club Valle have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-2 record. Newly promoted Atuneros dropped to the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Caballeros.
Bottom-ranked Nesfebanor (0-5) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to fourth ranked Santa Maria (5-3) 98-55. The winners were led by forward Jeanhison Rosales (-2002) who scored that evening 14 points and 7 rebounds and Emilio Morales supported him with 18 points. Santa Maria's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 27 points and 17 rebounds by forward Hector Graterol (-1990) did not help to save the game for Nesfebanor. Santa Maria have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Nesfebanor at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost.
