Argentino lands Manny Payton, ex Piratas

Argentino Junin (La Liga) tabbed 26-year old American 183cm point guard Manny Payton (college: FSU) for new season. Payton played this summer at Piratas in Ecuadorian National League. The last season he played at Catolica in Chilean LNB where in 26 games he averaged impressive 21.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.1apg and 1.4spg. He can count that season as a very successful as was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Nacional Honorable Mention.
Payton has played also professionally in Ireland (LYIT Donegal).
He played in the final of ECAC New England Championship in 2016.
Payton attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on he way to pro basketball.
He graduated from Framingham State University in 2019 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. Payton played also for Anna Maria College for one year.
