Cuenca Basket Club a debutant team in Ecuador's Liga Basquet Pro has confirmed the signing of Elias Cave (201-F, college: Minot St.) who was the regular season's MVP. This will be Elias second team in Ecuador, as last season he already played for Spartans SG averaging 26.1 PPG, 6.9 rpg, 1.8 apg with a 43% in 3 point shooting in 18 games. After that he got a call to play for Union de Santa Fe in Argentina, one of the thoughest leagues in South America, where he averaged 7.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg and 0.5 apg in 13 games. This is a greadt addition for Cuenca Basket Club, who is obviously looking to make a quick impact on the league adding former MVP, after also confirming the experienced Argentinian Coach Daniel "Zeta" Rodriguez. |
