Alexander Guerra joins J.Guzman

Jorge Guzman CD (Liga Basquet Pro) has agreed terms with 28-year-old international forward Alexander Guerra (196cm-1996) for the new 2024 season. Guerra played last summer at Caballeros in the Ecuadorian National League. In three Liga Sudamericana games, he had 4.7ppg, 4.3rpg, 4.7apg, and 2.0spg. Liga Basquet Pro will be a better match for him, and he can expect more playing time. Guerra also played 5 games in the National League, where he recorded 11.2ppg, 10.6rpg, 3.8apg, 1.8spg, and 1.0bpg. He briefly played for another Ecuadorian team, Orange (Liga Desarrollo).
He has been a member of the Ecuadorian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Ecuadorian senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 17 National Team in 2013.
He also repped Ecuador at the South American Championship in Caracas (Venezuela) 8 years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 3.3ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.5apg.
