Jorge Guzman CD (Liga Basquet Pro) signed experienced 34-year old American guard Donald Robinson (192cm-85kg-1989, college: WVU Tech) for upcoming 2024 season. Robinson moved there from L.Borges in Uruguayan Metropolitan. In 15 games he had 13.8ppg, 2.4rpg, 3.2apg and 1.2spg last season.
He is quite experienced player. Robinson has played in eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Gimnasia), Hungary (Atomeromu), Mexico (Pioneros Los Mochis), United Kingdom (Plymouth Patriots and Gladiators), Czech Republic (Usti n/Labem and GBA Lions), Uruguay (Trouville, Bigua and Urupan), United Arab Emirates (Al Jazira) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Arkansas).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Hungarian League Semifinals in 2016. Robinson was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay LUB Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from West Virginia University Institute of Technology in 2012 and it is his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
