Liga Basquet Pro 2024 - Ricardo Calatayud (ex Indios) joins Spartans

Spartans SG (Liga Basquet Pro) added to their roster 32-year old Mexican ex-international point guard Ricardo Calatayud (183cm-1992) for new 2024 season. Calatayud moved there from Indios in Mexican LBE league where he started the season.
He also represented Mexico at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) nine years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 6.4ppg, 2.2rpg, 1.0spg, FGP: 36.4%, 3PT: 31.6%.
Calatayud has played also professionally for other Mexican teams like Aaguacateros, Venados, Pioneros. His team made it to the CIBACOPA Semifinals in 2018 and 2022.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LBE Honorable Mention in 2022.
