Piratas de Los Lagos (Liga Basquet Pro) tabbed 26-year old American 188cm guard Jordan Burns (college: Colgate, agency: Green Sports Management) for new season. Burns played most recently at Lusitania in Portuguese Liga Betclic, but left the team in Dec.'23. In only one game he had 6 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals last season. The last summer he played at Santos in Mexican LNBP where in four games he averaged 3.5ppg, 1.0rpg and 1.3apg.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. Burns is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Beroe), Poland (Twarde Pierniki), United Kingdom (Gladiators), NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Maine Celtics), Canada (London Lightning) and The Basketball Tournament (Ex Pats).
Burns received All-Patriot League Player of the Year award back in 2021.
He graduated from Colgate University in 2021 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.
