CyC Manabi (Liga Basquet Pro) inked 27-year old American 206cm power forward Trenton Clayton (college: Pittsburg State) for upcoming season. Clayton played most recently at Zirve in Azerbaijani ABL league. In 12 games he averaged 6.8ppg and 3.8rpg last season.
He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Clayton has played previously professionally in Argentina (Lanus and Club Atletico Villa San Martin), Finland (Huima) and Portugal (Ginasio).
Among many awards he won El Salvador Liga Superior Apertura championship title in 2019. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Finnish 1st Division B Honorable Mention back in 2020.
Clayton graduated from Pittsburg State in 2019 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: University of North Alabama, Shelton State Community College.
