Liga Basquet 2024 - IMP Alvarado signs Triston Matthews

IMP Alvarado (Liga Basquet Pro) signed Canadian guard Triston Matthews (196cm-100kg, agency: Starting 5) for upcoming 2024 season. Matthews played last season at Esgueira/Aveiro/OLI in Portuguese Liga Betclic, but left the team in Nov.'23. In only one game he recorded 3 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals. The last summer he was tested by Bandits in Canadian ncouver Bandits (CEBL) in Canadian. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Matthews has played also professionally for other Canadian teams like Thunderbirds, Heat and Sentinel.
Matthews' team was regular season runner-up in Canada West West Division in 2022.
