Liga Basquet 2024 - Dennis McKinney (ex Cordon) agreed terms with Leones

Leones de Riobamba SC (Liga Basquet Pro) inked 26-year old American 194cm swingman Dennis McKinney (college: Mt.Mercy) for upcoming season. McKinney moved there from Cordon in Uruguayan LUB league. In 17 games he recorded 14.8ppg and 5.0rpg last season. He also played for Asociacion Basquetbol Ancud in Chilean LNB where in four LUB games he was league's second best scorer with impressive 15.8ppg and had 7.0rpg and 1.0spg.
McKinney has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Finland (Oulun Bball) and Chile (Puente Alto). His team made it to the Chilean final in 2024.
McKinney graduated from Mount Mercy University in 2021 and it is his third season in pro basketball.
