San Antonio Gold (Liga Basquet Pro) added to their roster 33-year old American center Earl Watson (201cm-109kg-1990, college: URI). Watson moved there from Viktor Sanikidze Academy in Georgian A League. In 8 games he recorded 9.3ppg, 7.5rpg, 1.1apg and 1.8bpg last season. He helped them to win the A League title. Quite impressive season as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Georgian A-League Third Team. Watson also played for Bigua in Uruguayan LUB where in two A League games he averaged 7.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.5bpg.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Watson tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, Africa and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Greece (Kolossos H Hotels Rodou), Morocco (IRT Tanger), Poland (Legia), Portugal (Imortal), Romania (Craiova and CS Municipal Ploiesti), Spain (Ourense and Coviran Granada), Uruguay (Capitol) and Dominican Republic (Reales).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was selected to Afrobasket.com Moroccan League All-Imports Team back in 2018.
Watson graduated from University of Rhode Island in 2016 and it is his eighth season as a professional player. He played also for Chipola College for one year.
