CyC Manabi (Liga Basquet Pro) landed 33-year old Puerto Rican 190cm guard Steven Miro Bonefont (college: FIU) for upcoming season. Miro Bonefont moved there from Capitanes de Arecibo in Puerto Rican BSN league where he started the season. He missed last four seasons and had longer break from professional basketball.
Miro Bonefont was a member of Puerto Rican U19 National Team back in 2009.
He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Miro Bonefont has played previously professionally also in Spain (Cantaires Tortosa) and Dominican Republic (Marineros, Indios and Bueyes) and Puerto Rico (Gigantes).
His team was regular season runner-up in Puerto Rican BSN in 2017.
He graduated from Florida International University in 2014 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
