Ecuadorian National League round 3 best performance: Alcides Martinez

Alcides Martinez put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked L.D.U. Santa Maria, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The player had a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team ATUC (#4, 0-10) with 16-point margin 84-68. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Santa Maria to consolidate first place in the Ecuadorian National League. Santa Maria have a solid 8-2 record. In the team's last game Martinez had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Santa Maria, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Alcides Martinez has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.4ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 10.5rpg) and averages impressive 50.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Carlos Rojas of ATUC Basketball Club. Rojas had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds.
