The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of UDJ (5-1) on the court of fourth ranked ATUC on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by ATUC 60-55. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Sthefany Narvaez (168-2001) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Marcia Ullauri (-2005) who added 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international power forward Dayanna Salcedo (176-1989) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. ATUC (2-4) moved-up to third place. Defending champion UDJ still keeps top position with one game lost.
Very significant was UDJ's (#1) just 1-point road victory against their biggest opponent Santa Maria 66-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Santa Maria. It was a key game for the top position in the league.
