Ambato Soldiers (Liga Femenina) have signed American 183cm small forward Amari Heard (college: SSU) for the upcoming season. Heard arrives from Bashkimi in the Kosovan Superliga, where she posted averages of 8.4ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.7apg, and 1.4spg in 15 games last season. She also played 8 games in Liga Unike, contributing 7.0ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.1apg, and 1.3spg. Her efforts were instrumental in helping her team secure the regular season title and reach the semifinals.
She attended Savannah State University until 2023, and it'll be her third season in pro basketball.
