Ecuadorian LNB round 3 best performance: Franco Borsellino (by Hoops Agents)

Argentinian Point guard Franco Borsellino (185-PG-1987) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Golden Club Deportivo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 38-year old player was the main contributor (28 points and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Cuenca (#4, 1-3) with 16-point margin 91-75. Deportivo Gold maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Ecuadorian LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Deportivo Gold will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Borsellino had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He just recently signed at Deportivo Gold, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Franco Borsellino has solid league stats. Third on the list of top players last round was Cuban center Marvin Cairo (203-C-1991) of league's top team IMP Alvarado. Cairo scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Alvarado, leading his team to a 75-74 win against Iccan (#5, 1-3). Alvarado started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game in Group B. Cairo turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Cairo has a very solid season. In 4 games in Ecuador he scored 14.0ppg.
