Importadora signs Zada Williams, ex Csata DSE

Importadora Alvarado Ambato (Liga Femenina) signed 29-year old American forward Zada Williams (188cm-1996, college: Florida). She joins another USA player Brittany Autry who is already in the roster. She moved there from Csata Diaksport Egyesulet in Hungarian A Division. In 28 games she had 10.3ppg, 8.9rpg, 2.5apg and 2.3spg last season. 2025-26 was a great year as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. Last season she played at CS Rapid Bucuresti in the Romanian league. She also played for another Romanian team CSM CSU Constanta (Liga Nationala) in the Romanian league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and she was exposed to basketball on different levels. She also played 6 games in the Romanian Liga Nationala where she recorded 13.2ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.7apg and 1.5spg.
Williams, an experienced player, has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America, and North America). She has played professionally in Greece (PAOK Thessaloniki), Italy (Empoli), Mexico (Abejas), Poland (Polonia W-wa), Romania, and Slovakia (Ruzomberok).
She won the EWBL championship title in 2024.
Williams graduated from the University of Florida in 2020 and is in her sixth season as a professional player. She also played for the University of Miami for 2 years.
