American guard Paul Marigney (191-1982, college: SMC) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners and Cuban center Marvin Cairo (203-1991) chipped in 25 points. At the losing side the former international swingman Luis Riascos (194-2000) responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Matias Urbina (178-2003) scored 21 points and 5 assists.
