Genesis Evangelista (ex Leonas) signs at Santa Tecla BC

Santa Tecla BC (Liga Mayor) landed 28-year old Dominican 170cm guard Genesis Evangelista. The last time (20) she played at Leonas in Colombian Liga Superior.
She represented Dominican Republic at the Centrobasket in San Salvador (El Salvador) this year. Her team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 4 games: 8.3ppg, 3.5rpg, Assists-3 (3.3apg), 1.0spg, FGP: 54.5%, 3PT: 45.5%, FT: 66.7%.
Evangelista has played also professionally for other Dominican Rep. teams like Mauricio Baez and Aguilas.
Among many awards she won Colombian Liga Superior championship title in 2020. She was voted to Colombian All-Star Game in 2020.
