Dominican center Cristian Lora-Oliver (208-2000, college: Hillsborough) helped adding 12 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American center Troidell Carter (206-1991, college: Slippery Rock) with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Santa Tecla is looking forward to face Metapan (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Brayan Garcia (194-1998) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Marco Menjivar accounted for 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guatemalan point guard David Vasquez (-1992, college: Umpqua CC) came up with 21 points and 7 rebounds for A.Lobos in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Salvadorenos will play against Cojute (#4) in Cojutepeque in the next round. A.Lobos will play on the road against Santiagueno in Usultan to get more than just one victory in their record.

The best player for the winners was Alejandro Barahona who scored 24 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals.
