Santa Tecla celebrated Liga Mayor Clausura title. They beat San Salvador in Game 3 of the title series to capture the trophy. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-65. It was a good game for Cuban point guard Arlenis Romero (176-84) who led her team to a victory with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Cuban forward Leidis Oquendo (180-82, agency: Pro Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Santa Tecla BC players scored in double figures.
