Moe comes back to Brujos

Anthony Moe

Brujos Izalco (Liga MB) added experienced 36-year-old Guyanese-American center Anthony Moe (207cm-107kg-1990, college: Millersville). It is actually his comeback to Izalco as he has played here before. During the last time (2025), he played at Capitol in the Uruguayan D4 league. He missed last season and had a one-year break from professional basketball. He was a member of the Guyanese Senior National Team between 2018 and 2021.
Moe is a highly experienced player. He has played professionally in ten different countries across three continents. He has played in Chile (Temuco), Malaysia (KL Aseel and Putrajaya), Saudi Arabia (Al Ansar), Uruguay, Venezuela (Cocodrilos), Nicaragua (Jaguares, Brumas and UNAN Leon), TBL (Albany and Lehigh Valley L.), El Salvador (Marquense, Cojute and Chalchuapa), Canada (Jackals) and Ecuador (Jorge Guzman CD) during his career as a pro basketball player in Asia, Latin America, and North America.
Among many awards, he won the Ecuadorian Liga Basquet Pro championship title in 2024. He was also voted the Latinbasket.com All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Torneo Clausura Defensive Player of the Year back in 2021. Moe is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Brujos.
He graduated from Millersville University in 2015 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player. Moe played also for Saint Thomas University for one year.
