Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked San Marcos as it allowed them to take a leadership position. San Marcos defeated 4th placed ExSAL ST at home 80-70. San Marcos forced 20 ExSAL ST turnovers. Ronald Flores orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points. Willian Merino (-0) contributed with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. San Marcos have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. ExSAL ST at the other side dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. ExSAL ST will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. San Marcos will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Pinitos BC in Ahuachapan.
Bottom-ranked Juayua is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to third ranked Halcones (5-1) 82-62. Swingman Luis Valle (190-97) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds for the winners and Fernando Baides chipped in 10 points, 15 rebounds and 7 blocks.
