The most exciting game of round 12 in the Liga Superior took place in Apopa. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 8th ranked ABA (4-10) to seventh ranked Chalchuapa (5-8) 99-96 in the game for the seventh place. Chalchuapa made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. An interesting game for ExSAL ST (10-3) which hosted in Santa Tecla one of their biggest challengers Halcones (10-2). Third ranked ExSAL ST managed to get a 10-point victory 64-54.
