Boulet's double-double lands her Liga Mayor Player of the Week award

40-year old Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-C-1984) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team AD Isidro Metapan and receives a Hoops Agents Liga Mayor Player of the Week award for round 8.
She had a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds, while her team crushed Santa Tecla 2 (#5, 5-3) with 24-point margin 81-57. It allowed Metapan to consolidate first place in the Salvadorean league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Metapan keeps a perfect 8-0 record. Boulet turned to be Metapan's top player in her first season with the team. Boulet has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 30.3ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 15.8rpg) and averages solid 1.6bpg and 55.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Anisleidys Galindo (181-SG-1989) of league's second-best San Salvador. She is Cuban guard in her first season at San Salvador. In the last game Galindo recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds. Of course she led San Salvador to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Santa Ana 2 (#8, 1-7) 88-42. San Salvador's second position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 7 matches. Galindo is a newcomer at San Salvador and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Metapan's star - guard Britney Jones (174-PG-1987). Jones showcased her all-around game by recording 14 points, 15 rebounds (!!!) and 10 assists (!!!) in the last round. She was another key player of AD Isidro Metapan, helping her team with a 81-57 easy win against the lower-ranked Santa Tecla 2 (#5, 5-3). Metapan have amazing season winning all 8 games without a single defeat. Jones turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Jones has a great season in El Salvador. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.0ppg (9th best), rebounds with 9.8rpg (9th best) and assists with 8.1apg (best passer). She also has 2.1spg and a FGP of 54.1%.
