Jeremy Agosto was awarded player of the week yesterday having an unbelievable 35 points in his last game in Cojute

This was an impressive game for American Jeremy Agosto (177-G-1997) as the 28 year old guard had 35 points a second highest in the world when his team Cojute beat the Brujos 101 to 75. He was the second highest scoring player of that day in the world. Agosto also grabbed 3 rebounds and 9 assists that game. He is the 3rd best scorer in the league averaging almost 28 points and almost 8 assists per game. The best players in the league are US college alumni. Just on the list of the top 10 best scorers we have 4 out of 10 players, who had college careers.
He has played previously professionally in Puerto Rico (Capitanes), and Nicaragua (Cacique Diriangen and Costa Caribe).
Among many awards he played in the final of the El Salvador Liga Mayor Apertura in 2023. Agosto was also selected as the Latinbasket.com All-Nicaraguan LSB Player of the Year as well as the All-Nicaraguan LSB First Team back in 2021.
He was awarded Player of the Week in the Salvadorean Liga MB 2 times already this season.
