Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Brayan Garcia (194-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Puerto Rican power forward Owens Perez (206-1992) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four San Salvador players scored in double figures. San Salvador's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Allon Johnson (201, college: Dalton St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Marcus Millien (188-2000, college: Carlow) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Brujos.

Metapan looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Salvadorenos' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Cuban forward Yoel Cubillas (204-1994) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 24 rebounds and 5 assists. Puerto Rican forward Xavier Zambrana (193-1991) contributed with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. Forward Marcos Menjivar (190-2004) answered with 21 points and 4 assists and naturalized Mali power forward Ibrahima Traore (208-2005) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Salvadorenos. Five Metapan and four Salvadorenos players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
