San Salvador - Metapan 72-99

Metapan dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to San Salvador's 34. They outrebounded San Salvador 48-37 including a 42-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Metapan players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. Cuban forward Yoel Cubillas (204-1994) had a double-double by scoring 32 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized American center Cameron Lard (206-1997, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest. Power forward Brayan Garcia (194-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and Alejandro de Los Santos scored 22 points and 4 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Center Marc Montavious (206-1990, college: Georgetown, KY) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and forward Sean Scott (190-1997, college: Pfeiffer) added 20 points in the effort for A.Lobos.
