A.Lobos outrebounded Metapan 45-34 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American guard Jerome Savoy (185, college: Pfeiffer) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import center Marc Montavious (206-1990, college: Georgetown, KY) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Four A.Lobos players scored in double figures. A.Lobos' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cuban forward Yoel Cubillas (204-1994) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and American point guard Marquise Mosley (175-1997, college: Biola, CA) added 18 points and 5 steals in the effort for Metapan.
