Brayan Garcia's triple-double lands him Liga MB Player of the Week award

Center Brayan Garcia (200-C-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked AD Isidro Metapan, receiving a Hoops Agents Liga MB Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 27-year old player recorded a triple-double of 22 points adding also 13 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team outclassed Santiagueno (#9, 2-5) with 51-point margin 119-68. It allowed Metapan to consolidate first place in the Salvadorean Liga MB. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Metapan keeps a perfect 9-0 record. In the team's last game Garcia had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Metapan's top player in his first season with the team. Brayan Garcia has solid league stats. He is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.6apg) and averages impressive 46.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Colombian John Hernandez (207-C-1984) of Santiagueno BC. Hernandez had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 22 rebounds. Bad luck as Santiagueno lost that game 68-119 to league's leader Metapan (#1, 9-0). This loss caused Santiagueno to drop to 9th position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Santiagueno managed to get this year. Hernandez is a newcomer at Santiagueno, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Puerto Rican forward Xavier Zambrana (193-F-1991) of MC El Brasil Santa Ana (#8). Zambrana got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for twenty two rebounds and four assists. Despite Zambrana's great performance the Santa Ana lost 83-86 to the higher-ranked Cojute (#4, 5-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Santa Ana not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 6 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Zambrana could try to bring Santa Ana's a little bit higher in the standings. Zambrana has a very solid season. In 2 games in El Salvador he scored 29.0ppg.
